Our Story

Whether it's abroad or at home, we find ourselves drawn to museums of ancient civilisation, archaeology, and folk art - places where everyday objects, crafted thousands of years ago, still endure. Their beauty is quiet but powerful. They were never meant to be extravagant, just useful - yet they carry the elegance of care and timeless design.

House of Pin is born from that fascination: the idea that a home can be a kind of living museum - not of cold display, but of warmth, meaning, and memory.

We curate functional, lasting pieces that are made with intention - things to live with, to pass on, and to cherish.

Why "House of Pin"

The name Pin 品 comes from the Chinese character for “object” or “item,” but it also holds a deeper meaning. It is made up of three mouths stacked together, symbolising discussion, refinement and the appreciation of beauty through shared experience.

To pin something is to savour it, to assess it, to let it linger. This idea - of thoughtful curation, choosing well and living deeply with what you own - sits at the heart of everything we do.
